Look what I did!!!
I got on one of the blogs I enjoy looking at your home based mom and she had a tutorial of how to make these babies!!
SUPER EASY!! The cake was one of her recipes also.

I have also seen others with a twist on them.... Get jars or candy jars with a lid - glue to a candle stick using
E-6000 let it dry and you have a super fun way to display trinkets or treats!!  I got that from another of the blogs I enjoy drab to fab.

When we layed the sod 1 1/2 weeks ago we also planted our black yard and LOOK we have little GRASSLINGS!! I guess you should know that I had to use super macro that's how small they are but EXCITING!!

A finally I got a job this week. With Aaron having surgery and being sick lately he asked me to get things in order to be a sub for him. I did that not thinking anything of it, and in the last 2 days got everything done and rolling. I am now a substitute teacher!! I subbed at the boys school today and tomorrow I am subbing for Aaron's class. So far, I know its early but I really enjoy it.

Aaron had knee surgery YUCK-This is his knee 1 week later. Looks 100% better then it did a week ago. 14 staples all together in his knee.
We have been working very hard trying to get our Front yard in and finally LOOK!!! Its DONE. We are very happy with the way it turned out. The boys were so cute Cody and Casen teamed up to carry rolls of sod along the edge of the yard to us. Robert, Denna, Clayton and I worked like troopers to get it in and done Aaron struggled to just supervise. Finally it feels and looks like Home!

Knee Surgery

Aaron had surgery today!! Finally after 3 months of guess work on our part we got it taken care of. It was crazy....about 45 minutes into surgery the power went out. That's what everyone wants to happen during surgery. No problem they have back up generators that kicked in 30 seconds later.
He was weird----he came out of surgery giggling like a little girl and laughing like a hienia.
The second he stopped laughing the pain hit like a rock, then the nausea kicked in he is on a bad roller coaster ride.
Anyway things went well now he is off to recovery!!
