CREEPY

Some our you may remember back in October I had a critter in my roof......Well it's CREEPY but it or something is back. Good thing today is Wednesday Vicky and I are going to get together and sort through clothes, I can get her to help me do something again. Shes my monkey.

Speaking of CREEPY tell me your feelings on this... I have been blogging for 8-10 months and only Friends and Family have been on my blog. (that I know of) Don't get me wrong I love it!! But last night I had 2 comments left from complete strangers. Comments about my family. Not bad or anything, but strangers. I am thinking of putting that block up, the invitation only thing. How safe do you think we are with this being a journaling type thing with pictures etc. available to any one.

For Sale!!

Today is the day we sign papers to put our home up for sale. Clayton cried and cried last night. He kept saying "this is my favorite home, can't we just move it?" We have lived here since he was 2, it's the only home he remembers. Then he moves on to "My family and friends, what will I do?" We share those feeling for the most part, but it is going to be an adventure and who knows it may not sale very fast the market stinks right now. We are leaving it in the Lords hands, it will happen when it's suppose to happen but wish us luck!!

Precious Moments

This picture was taken 3 1/2 years ago. A week ago we were in Twin Falls as a family, my most fond memories of that trip is all 5 of us piled on a futon watching Freaky Friday. We were piled much like this. I love this picture.....No posing to it just...
All tuckered out!!

Lippy's Recap

For those of you questioning what's up with the Lippy's? Here is the scoop. It seems like it changes daily so for today..... I will meet with our real estate agent again on Monday and list our home. This time I have to sale it. Aaron is in Twin Falls, where he has been teaching since the beginning of the school year. (7th grade English) He loves it!!
I on the other hand had a very hard time with it. We put our home up for sale in September, we the boys and I moved in with my parents for 2 weeks. (to make showing of our home easier) We missed Aaron so much. He came home for the 3 day weekend and the boys and I took off back with him. The boys started school the next day and I struggled to accomplish anything in a new unfamiliar town. The boys went to school the first day with little problems. That was my day of paradise in disguise because for the rest of the month Clayton would miss the bus trying to not have to go to school. When it was time to drop Cody off I would have to stay 45 minutes to an hour waiting for him to settle in before I could leave. Bla Bla Bla they hated school and they didn't like there teachers.
On the flip side of things they loved where we were staying. We stayed with the Leiser's. They were the best to us, they tried so hard to help us feel Welcome and Loved. Great Family, We Love Them. They have some land so they had 4 dogs when we got there and 20 something when we left. They had 4 cats and 10 I think when we left. 7 chickens and 5 when we left now due to our dog(2) and there's(3)= NONE now. 3 Horses and 2 goats and a canal it was kid paradise!! The boys raced boats made our of what ever they could find down the canal. Casen took a swim trying to float his boat and Aaron joined him!! Casen also took quite a dive in the church parking lot our first sunday, so we spent it in the E.R. getting stiches in his chin.
After a month of being there we had planned that the boys and I would fly home for a visit. Until I changed those plans I was so miserable. The boys and I drove home and took our home off the market and have been here since. We are going on 4 months now, and to be honest I am struggling with the decision that I made to come home. I met with the agent yesterday to see how poor the market is now and it doesn't look good. Which makes me think did I make a bad decision. The budget cuts that the schools have to make in this area are not good, so our chance of getting a job here don't look good. Where to get a job there sounds more promising. Not what I had hoped for in coming home but who knew?
Our goal is to sale our home and move to Twin Falls to be together as a FAMILY again. That's the story today hopefully here today and gone tomorrow!!

Mom's latest poem

Life
Live each day the best you can
Take hold of life and make a stand
Wake early in the morning
To watch the bright sun rise.
Walk in the dews of morning
Breath sweet fragrance of the flowers
Each day of life is special
They come and they go
Life is a mystery as it unfolds
As daylight turns to darkness
Another day is done
Be thankful for the blessings
Of a royal birth
To live another day here
On this special earth.

9th Anniversary!!

Last Wednesday Aaron and I celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary!! We were all geared up for a quiet and lonely Anniversary. Aaron and I talk every night we look forward to that time but lately Aaron has been so down and discouraged. Monday night I talked to him and had to really talk him into staying in Twin Falls and toughing it out. After having him home for a little over 2 weeks it was really hard to let him go and for him to come back. I went to exercising Tuesday morning where my older sister encouraged me to go see him, so after a lot of shuffling of responsibilities, I decided to do just that. The boys and I took off early Wed. morning for Twin Falls. After 10 long hours of driving we finally made it!! Aaron was walking out of the school talking with a teacher, we hid behind a wall and jumped out and surprised him. It was the perfect anniversary surprise!! We struggled to find much to do a first. It is very cold here and we don't know our way around or what to do for fun.......... but when Aaron got home we had a lot of fun. We went swimming, out for dinner, played cards and just had fun being together as a family. We went to church today, and are gearing up for the long ride home. (YUCK)

Christmas Break!

We had a Great Christmas Break!! Aaron was able to make it home!! He flew in during a brief break in the weather when the plains were able to land. We had a great time hanging out as a family. We went sledding, shoveled the drive. Enjoyed Christmas as a family and shoveled the drive. We shoveled our roof and
shoveled the drive. Did I mention we shoveled the drive. I've done it 2 times just this morning already. We have had a huge amount of snow this year.
Aaron got me a new washer and dryer for Christmas they are so nice. It takes no time to do wash and the kids love to watch it spin. I can dry a load faster then I can wash one now, before it would take 45 min to wash and 1 1/2 hours to dry if I was luck. I hated my dryer. I love my new ones!!New Years day we had my little sister and her family over. We played, phase 10 Sesame Street style, we played SkipBo and the WII that we had gotten the family for Christmas. We had a lot of fun UNTIL......Clayton ACCIDENTALLY clobbered Cody across the head while playing dodge ball. Cody must not of dodged when he was suppose to. Yes he has a black eye and it cut his little eye, and put a shiner on his forehead. Today 4 days later you can see a straight line from the controller where it smacked his little face with such force.

The moral of this story............make sure each player has lots of room to move about NO CROWDING.
