Catch up!

I better start back as far as the end of October. Aaron's birthday is the intro to all the holidays around our home. He asked us not to do much for his birthday. He has so many responsibilities that it was hard to nail him down so we celebrated him on the weekend. We made his favorite dinner lasagna, bread sticks and cake. I made him a bouquet of Reese's. The bottom of my huge vase was filled with sweet tarts(Sweethearts) I took long skewers and taped 2 dozed Reese's to the tops, it was fun!!
Halloween was next. We did the trunk or treat a few weeks earlier. The eve of Halloween we got a call from friends in the neighborhood to come trick or treating with them. We had nearly half the ward on our front porch. They picked us up and we all went trick or treating together. It was nice.
Next....Clayton's birthday!! Bless his heart we had so many treats and so much cake left that I didn't make him a cake this year. He was so patient. We had him wait till his dad got home which was just before bed then we let him open his gifts. He got a be bee gun and a solo skate. That Clayton has talent, if it has wheels he can ride it regardless of what it is. The only thing that he really wanted that we couldn't do due to me working this year was go to CDA. He had a good birthday after all.
Parent teacher conferences- All three of the boys did really well. I am very proud of them! Clayton struggles with math. He hates to take his time and work out a bunch of steps. He gets it if I set down with him and we work it out together, so his teacher and I are really working on this with him. Cody is doing excellent!! His teacher went on and on about him. Casen, is doing great! He is becoming a bit of a chatter bug but excelling in school! We got our parent teacher conferences out of the way. Casen had a day out that the boys and I didn't have off, he begged me to stay home with him. I figured that we had 4 days out I'm taking the other 2 out and we took off to CDA! We left Wednesday after school I quickly and quietly packed the boys they had no clue! They got out of school and we told them, then I drove all night. Clayton my trooper promised to stay awake to help me stay awake but was the first one out. By 7:30 he was fast asleep, Casen and Cody lasted till 8:00 or so I even pulled off to get gas and not one of them woke up. They were sleeping like babies until Spokane Clayton popped up, then Cody popped up, they get so excited because things finally look familiar. As we Cruz to CDA the boys say I'll tell you how to get to Grandma & Grandpas from here and they do with such pride! It was a great time to go, the weather held out for us just a little snow and ice, the worst was the fog. I tucked behind semi's to cut through the fog. Unfortunately while we were on our way home I got the call that Matthew (the brother right under me) went active duty. He flew out to Iraq that morning. We pray for his family and a safe return home.
Thanksgiving, we worked right up to the day of YUCK. Aaron and I had signed up to do a Turkey Trot that morning, not knowing that it would maybe be 4*. Man was it cold. It was good we kept moving or we would of turned into Popsicles. This was my first time ever doing something like this, Aaron had done a few in the past. We walked the 5k trot in 45 minutes. It was a nice walk, around the CSI campus 3 times (good to know) We didn't feel that our time was bod seeing as though Aaron had surgery on his knee 6 months ago, and the cold humbles him really quick. We had our dinner it was very nice. Robert my little brother came down and spent the day with us.
Aaron HATES to participate in the black Friday events. Last year was his first experience with it and he promised he would never do it again........until this year when the gifts we wanted to get the boys were more affordable only at those hours so off we both went him to Target and I to Walmart, Not to mention that he was at Walmart at midnight already. We did it and are almost finished, thanks to the black Friday event, we were able to divide and conquer!
Aaron has been coaching girls basketball since October. That keeps him very busy. He is very dedicated to his team. I think that it is his dedication that has made his team a success. He really enjoys coaching and has a good group of girls. They love to play and work hard for him. I have become the team mom. Before the home games I french braid the girls hair. I must admit it has been a long time since I did anything to any ones hair, I enjoy it! The team went through a little of a rough patch but has come back strong. They have lost 3 games and won 5. Go Stuart!!
My birthday is next. Aaron and the boys got me some new tennis shoes!! We planned on to go out for dinner and ended up canceling that and just stayed home.
My dad had reconstructive surgery on his ankle last Monday. Now comes the long hard recovery. We hope and pray everything takes and he can quickly recover. I know there will be lost of struggles and pain with the whole process. My dad is very strong. The boys pray for him every night and pray that he will recovery quickly and properly, that he will be like a kid again. Bless there hearts they love there grandparents.
I think this should be pretty caught up. Once I get behind I have to really think do I even want to keep this up??? Then Aaron comes along and gets after me to get this updated. I think he should take over!!=)
Just in case.

~Happy Holidays!~

Up Date!!

The latest news. Aaron is finally done with football but in the same breath basketball has also started and he is busy busy busy. Our ward at church just got split, they took our ward and split it into 3 different wards and made 1 new ward. We are the new ward. Aaron is the new 2nd counseler in the young men's. He was busy before, now he is very busy.
I struggled to find the car that I was after. I thought about the Trailblazer, the Envoy or the Saturn Outlook. I went back and forth for sometime and could never settle on one until we found a Nissan Armada!! That is the vehicle that I want. We didn't know much about them but we really liked them. After doing some research we knew that we couldn't afford it until we found one in Boise. I sent Aaron off to Boise after it and he got it!! It is Silver, it has Navigation, leather heated seats, power everything, seats 8, sunroof, bla, bla, bla we really like it!!! I will post pictures after I get batteries for my camera.
We all carved pumpkins last night it was a lot of fun!! Casen took off his shirt to stay clean. When it was time to pull the guts out he was done so I pull all the guts out for him then smeared them on him. Clayton was too clean so I put it on him also. It was a lot of fun. Cody I knew wouldn't recover from a mess like that.
Pictures yet to come.
O.K my turn. I am very busy with work and the boys. We are on the go and clean the house in between it all and if we are lucky we even fit a good dinner in. My calling is Primary President. We are very busy but enjoying every minute of it.
Knowing me and my timing lately I tell everyone Happy Halloween late so better now then never HAPPY HALLOWEEN Stay safe and warm.
P.S. Happy Birthday Aaron!!! (Friday)

School started and we took off running!! The boys are all in school and working very hard. Clayton likes his teacher really well, which is a good thing, last year was really hard on him. He had a teacher who was retrying I personally think that she stayed one year too many. After one bad year it is hard to pick there spirts up and go again.
Cody, he is so sensitive. He really tries. He is such a smart boy!! He loves school, he likes his teacher and enjoys being with his friends.
Casen, we worked so hard trying to get him into all day Kindergarten. But that didn't work so we put him in private Kindergarten as well as public kindergarten. Casen is such a fun Loving little man....he really liked school at first, which was great!! Then at the private school it seems as though they pick on him a little and he is beginning to not like it much.
Aaron is staying sooooo busy with school and football. He just received a new call in church today. That is going to keep him extra busy, he is excited for it. His football team loves him, they have won all but 1 game and only have 2 games to go! GO BEARS!!
I started my new job and it has kept me very busy!! I am so busy testing or running labs at the school, then I get the boys, head home and try to get caught up on everything at home. We stay busy busy busy. I also got a new calling at church, it is going to keep me a little bit busier! It all keeps us young.
If I am LUCKY Aaron will go get me my new car tomorrow!! Cross your fingers!
